Continuiamo a parlare un pò di Dubai! Il primo giorno dopo aver visto la Città vecchia (primo post) prendo la metro più vicina da AL-RAS e mi dirigo facendo una sosta nel Financial District, per vedere un pò di Architettura, verso il Centro commerciale "Mall of the Emirates" per prendere un pò d'aria condizionata e fare pausa dai 40 gradi!

We continue to talk about Dubai! The first day after seeing the Old Town (first post) I take the subway from the nearest AL-RAS with a stop in the Financial District, to see a bit of architecture, to the Mall "Mall of the Emirates" for take some air conditioning and take a break from 40°C!
Ho fatto un giro solo nei pressi della fermata della metro perchè le distanze sono veramente tante con quel caldo! Al ritorno però, con il calare della sera, mi sono avventurata in un quartiere residenziale da sola per vedere le villette e cercare di capire le abitudini della gente del posto, senza mappa. C'ho messo ben due ore per riuscire a trovare la strada principale e tornare in hotel!!
I toured only near the Metro because the distances are so many in this heat!
On the way back, with nightfall, I ventured into a residential neighborhood alone to see the houses and try to understand the habits of the locals, with no map.
It took me two hours to be able to find the main road and back to the hotel !!
Guardate dal sito ufficiale del Mall QUI quanti negozi ci sono! Bevo qualcosa di fresco, faccio un giro, mi riprendo e passo dallo SKI DUBAI... Trovare la neve nel deserto è possibile! Ovviamente solo a Dubai! Qua potete prendere lezioni private e sciare tranquilli! Io, però, non ne ho approfittato, non ho mai sciato e mi potrebbe servire più di una lezione.

Finding snow in the desert you can! Obviously only in Dubai! Here you can take private lessons and ski quiet!
However, I have not profited, I never skied and I could serve more than one lesson.
Torno indietro decido di tornare in hotel a piedi causa inefficienza taxi! (troppo pochi per soddisfare tutte le esigenze!) Faccio pausa in piscina e dopo aver fatto riposare i miei piedi vado a vedere la Palm Jumeirah con qualche amico e il mio fidanzato, finalmente liberi!
L'isola è facilmente raggiungibile in vari modi, ma la più comoda e veloce è il taxi. Pensate che quasi un'ora di taxi (l'autista ha aspettato) è venuta poco meno di 20 euro!!
I go back I decided to walk back to the hotel due to inefficiency taxi! (too few to meet all the needs!) I break in the swimming pool and having to rest my feet I go to see the Palm Jumeirah with some friends and my boyfriend, free at last!
The island is easily accessible in various ways, but the most convenient and fastest way is by taxi. Think almost an hour by taxi (the driver waited) came just under 20 euro !!

Con il taxi ti accorgi di essere entrata in questa meravigliosa isola artificiale poichè senti il passaggio sopra i giunti dei ponti. All'inizio si attraversa una strada piena di palazzine tutte uguali e poi all'improvviso tutto cambia, entri in un tunnel sott'acqua per arrivare in fondo, proprio davanti il Resort Jumeirah QUI. Curiosi di sapere come finisce l'isola? Se ci si affaccia dal marciapiede di fronte il resort verso il mare si vede qualche scoglio, ops, blocco di cemento.
By taxi you realize you have come to this wonderful island as artificial feel the passage over the joints of the bridges. At first you cross a street full of buildings all the same, and then suddenly everything changes, you go into a tunnel under the water to get to the bottom, right in front of the Resort Jumeirah HERE. Curious to know how it ends the island? If you look out from the sidewalk in front of the resort to the sea you see some rocks, ops, concrete block.
We decided then to go to eat in Dubai Marina, in a local recommended by Lonely Planet Pocket, really beautiful evening !!!
